BERGE, BISCHOFF TO HEAD LAND, NEW DIRECTORS PICKED

Litchville farmer Donald Berge has assumed his duties as President of LAND for 2004. Berge’s election was announced at the 2003 Annual Meeting in Valley City. Roger Bischoff, Valley City, will serve as the group’s Vice President for next year. L.A. “Tony” Braunagel, Devils Lake, continues his position as Secretary. Richard Volk, Webster, will become the new Treasurer.
Jim Berg, Starkweather; Curly Haugland, Bismarck; and Paul Henderson, Calvin, were new directors elected to the LAND Board. Richard Flanders of Calvin was elected to his second term on the board.
Robert Lebacken, Reynolds, was honored as top recruiter for the year. He brought in 31 new members for LAND. Other recruiters also received certificates.
Donors to the Land Legacy Foundation were recognized and resolutions were approved.
